Prayer of Those Tempted to Suicide

Good God, I implore You, support me with Your grace. I feel so desperate and so burdened that I can no longer see any way out for me. My life seems to be falling apart, and I feel that I cannot go on living. I know that You created every life and that it is sacred, but I feel as if it is no longer worth living. I know that You created me too and that You love me. You came so that we might have life and have it in all its fullness.

Please let me experience Your great goodness in my life. I implore You, let Your love pierce the darkness in which I live! I know that You have the power to transform everything. May Your Holy Spirit fill me with hope for the future and give me the peace I long for so much. I entrust myself completely to Your Divine Mercy. Amen.
