Prayer for Those Suffering from Depression
Good God, You know the darkness that surrounds me. It seems to me as if a cloud has closed in around me, so that I lose all my perspective. And on top of that, I have the impression that it will never lift. I know that I have come out of this before, but when these feelings come back, everything grows dark again. Help me to trust You in this difficult time. I know that after the rain the sun comes out again, and that above the clouds the sun always shines. But I ask You, strengthen this conviction in my heart, so that Your hope may guide me. I believe that You can heal me, and I entrust myself completely to You. Give me the graces I need to persevere with You until Your healing love, which I know is constantly at work in me, at last fills me through and through and brings me the relief I need. Amen.

I want to thank the Intencje.pl Community for the perpetual prayer, especially when I was struggling with depression. I am still fighting—I admit—but I am slowly beginning to recover.
