Prayer for the Intercession of Saint Charbel

Saint Charbel, you who renounced worldly pleasures and lived in humility and hiddenness in the solitude of a hermitage, and who now dwell in the glory of heaven, intercede for us. Enlighten our minds and hearts, strengthen our faith and fortify our will. Kindle in us love of God and of neighbor. Help us to choose good and to avoid evil. Defend us against enemies visible and invisible, and sustain us in our daily life.

Through your intercession many people have received from God the gift of healing of soul and body and the resolution of problems in humanly hopeless situations. Look upon us with love and, if it be in accordance with God's will, obtain for us from God the grace we humbly ask for, and above all help us to walk each day the path of holiness to eternal life.
