Prayer for the Intercession of Saint Rita

Saint Rita, Patroness of difficult cases, Advocate in hopeless situations, wondrous star of our holy Church, mirror of patience, conqueror of demons, healer of the sick, comfort of the afflicted, model of true holiness, beloved Bride of Christ the Lord, marked with a thorn from the crown of the Crucified! From the depths of my heart I honor you, and at the same time I implore you: pray for me, that I may submit to God's will in all the adversities of my life. Come to my aid, O Saint Rita, and grant that I may experience the effects of your protection, so that my prayers may become effective before the throne of God. Obtain for me a strengthening of faith, hope and love, a sincere and childlike devotion to the Mother of God, and the grace… (name it).

And grant this too, that, having overcome all obstacles and temptations, I may one day reach heaven, and there thank you and rejoice forever in the company of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
