Prayer for Healing

Lord Jesus, You said: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest,” and “Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.” We ask You for Your mercy, for the healing of our sick souls and bodies. For You, Jesus, nothing is impossible. You said: “If the Son frees you, then you will truly be free.” You brought us a new freedom in the Holy Spirit; You know what ails us, what hurts us, binds us, enslaves us, troubles us and worries us. You know our addictions and sinful habits.

Lord, You know everything; You took upon Yourself our illnesses and our weaknesses. You are the King of Mercy. Look upon us and upon those whom we bring to You in our hearts. Savior, send Your Holy Spirit into our past and our present, into our feelings and fears, into the depths of our hearts. Set us free, heal, comfort and strengthen us. We ask You, hear now the pleas of our hearts.
