Prayer for the Intercession of Saint Gianna Beretta Molla

O God, You said that there is no greater love than when someone gives their life for the one they love. We thank You for giving us in Saint Gianna a burning example of true love and of respect for life. Help us to understand the example of her life, to spread it and to live it ourselves. Renew in all women throughout the world an understanding of the meaning of their mission and respect for every life, which is a gift of God and which they ought to guard even at the cost of their own lives. Grant us the grace we await through the intercession of Saint Gianna, who, following the example of Jesus, generously laid down her life for the life of others.
