I ask for prayers for a female friend. She is in her 3rd week of pregnancy and wants to have an abortion. On Saturday, she is supposed to go to the doctor and take a pill. I ask for the light of enlightenment for her and the courage not to commit this sin.
Prayer of a Mother Whose Pregnancy Is at Risk
Saint Gianna Beretta, you knew well the fear and anxiety of a mother who carries a child beneath her heart but does not know whether she will be able to rejoice in its safe birth. I love with the most sincere motherly love this child whom the Lord God has created in my womb, but I fear for its fragile life, which is threatened and uncertain. I turn to you, heroic mother, because I know that you will understand me in my distress. I trust that you will come to my aid and obtain for me from God the graces I need. Pray for my child, that my baby may come safely into the world and live for the glory of God and for our joy. And obtain for me the strength to bear this anxiety and fear for the future. Obtain for me the grace to accept God's will humbly and to understand rightly the meaning of His answer to my prayers. Amen.

It's worth believing. It's worth praying. If you have no strength, you will find it in prayer. This is the introduction to our story, which had a happy ending. We found out about the pregnancy when it was already the 7th week. The diagnosis was a singleton pregnancy. Around 10 weeks of pregnancy my wife had heavy bleeding. The ambulance took her away. We were already thinking about the worst-case scenario... After about 2 hours I got a text message from my wife: "the babies are alive :) " it turned out everything is OK and that it's going to be twins :) This news left us speechless, but it also made us very happy. The time came for the first prenatal screening. After it we became very scared, we were actually terrified... 😔 No ossification of the nasal bone in one of them and reversed blood flow, on top of that a two-vessel umbilical cord....
