I ask You, Holy Spirit: transform my inner tension into holy repose; transform my restlessness into soothing quiet; transform my anxiety into calm trust; transform my fear into unshakable faith; transform my bitterness into the sweetness of Your grace; transform the darkness of my heart into gentle light; transform my indifference into heartfelt kindness; transform my night into Your light; transform the winter of my soul into Your spring; straighten my crooked paths, fill my emptiness; cleanse me of pride, deepen my humility; kindle love in me, quench sensuality in me.

Come, Holy Spirit, work the miracle of the transformation of my heart, so that I may become like Christ, our Lord and Savior, who with the Father and with You lives and reigns for ever
