Prayer for the Fruits of the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, God, eternal Love of the Father and the Son! Deign to send me the fruit of charity, that I may love You worthily; of joy, that I may be filled with holy consolation; of peace, for the complete calm of my soul; the fruit of patience, to bear all trials patiently. Grant me zeal in work and in the service of God; goodness, which would make me pleasant to all; wisdom, that I may know how to avoid sin; meekness, that I may humbly accept every wrong from my neighbors. Send me the fruit of faith, that I may firmly believe the word of God; of modesty, that I may conduct myself in an exemplary way in all things; of continence and chastity, that I may keep my body in the holiness that befits Your temple. Grant that, keeping a pure heart on earth, I may be worthy to see You in heaven and to rejoice with You forever. Amen.
