Prayer for Wisdom through the Intercession of Saint Thomas Aquinas

Ineffable Creator! You make eloquent the tongues of infants: shape my tongue as well, and pour onto my lips the grace of Your blessing.

Give me clarity of understanding, capacity for remembering, ease in learning, precision in explaining and discussing.

When I begin, instruct me; when I develop and explain, guide me; when I finish, complete my work with the grace of understanding.

You who are true God and true man, give me a taste of the Godhead and of good humanity.
