Prayer of a Wife and Mother

O God, You saw the sincere tears and pleas of Saint Monica and answered her prayers with the conversion of her husband and her son; grant me the grace to pray to You with the same sincere fervor and, like her, to obtain the salvation of my own soul and of those dear to me for whom I am responsible. Through Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
