Prayer for a Spouse in a Marriage Crisis

Father, You who love us, who loved usbefore You gave us life,to You I entrust allthat is dearest to me, my Treasure, my husband or wife,the person closest to me. You love more than I am able to love;I trust in Your love.Surround my beloved with Your careand protect him or her from all evil.May Your Angel watch over and guard my spouse.Let all be well with my spouse; keep my spouse in good health.Give strength, and fill with joy.May human kindness surround him or her;along the way may he or she meet warm,smiling faces.Providence of God, we commit ourselves to Your care;shelter us,bring us happily back to each other;help us, Lord, to rebuild the homein which You will dwell with us forever.

I know that human dreams of happinesscan come to nothing through an evil turn of fate.But I trust in You and in the power of the Sacrament in which You united us.You who do not forget the lilies of the field and the birds of the air,remember us.We believe in Your Love.May Your will be done over us and in us.
