Prayer to Find a Good Wife

O God, I choose the way of marriage for myself as the way to fulfill my vocation, to fulfill myself and to find happiness.

Give me the grace of the Holy Spirit, so that it is I who direct my life; that I may meet a woman

with whom I could worthily fulfill the tasks for which You instituted marriage.Strengthen my soul in virtue, that I may prepare well for married life:that I may be responsible, steady, sincere and truthful, consistent.Bless me, that I may use my years as a single man to form the attitudes

through which my future home will be safe for me, for my wife and for the children she will bear.

Help me to find the one whom I will love, and who will love me. Lord, surround her with Your care.

Watch even now over me and over my future wife. Amen.
