It is worth believing
It is worth praying. If you have no strength, you will find it in prayer. This is the introduction to our story, which ended happily. We found out about the pregnancy when it was already the 7th week. Diagnosis: singleton pregnancy. Around the 10th week of pregnancy my wife had heavy bleeding. An ambulance took her. We were already thinking of the worst-case scenario... After about 2 hours I got a text message from my wife: "the children are alive :) " it turned out everything was OK and that it would be twins :) This news left us stunned but also made us very happy. The time came for the first prenatal test. After it we became very scared, we were downright terrified... 😔 No ossification of the nasal bone in one of them and reversed blood flow, on top of that a two-vessel umbilical cord.... Diagnosis: high probability of trisomy: Down, Edwards and Patau syndromes....😔 We were referred to the high-risk pregnancy clinic. There, more worrying information: they told my wife that it was not only likely but that it would happen. Here they suggested we have an amniocentesis. That it was supposed to show whether one of the children would have defects. After learning about the risks of the test, there was only one decision: we do not agree. We will not risk the child's life. And we waited until the second prenatal test... it was a very nerve-racking day. My wife came out of the doctor's office and said it was OK. That the little nose was there and the blood flow was normal. But the tummy was small. And we went to the high-risk pregnancy clinic again.... and here again we hear that even though this test came out well, they still look at the first one. 😔 and so on until the third prenatal test.... it came out well again. But a big difference between the children showed up. And again the clinic and again we hear the same thing....😔 And so we lived in fear all the time.... The birth was planned for the beginning of March. But my wife ended up in hospital at the beginning of January precisely because of these differences. It was a terrible time. The pandemic... you couldn't go into the hospital, etc... all that was left was looking out of the hospital window. Throughout the whole pregnancy, prayers went up to heaven. Many people also supported us in this prayer, for which we are very grateful 😇🙏 That day came, namely 8 February 2021. Bartosz and Maciej were born 😄 Today we are all at home, the predicted defects did not occur. That is why it is worth fighting for human life 😇🥰
