My fiancé and I were sleeping together before the wedding. When we set the wedding date, we went to a kind of general confession of our whole lives. That's also when we came to the conclusion that it was a good time to improve at least a little, so we started practicing chastity. It's probably one of the hardest tasks we've had to face this year. Everyone we told about it laughed at us; it was hard for us, we had to learn to live with each other without sex. Not only that! Without even cuddling together. For me the nights were especially hard, when I'd had a bad day and couldn't snuggle up to my fiancé. But during that time other important things were happening too. We began to draw closer and closer to God. We are at the beginning of our journey, but we're glad about every small change that has come. We read Scripture together. We pray together every evening. Us and God. The three of us. Opening up more and more with each day. Your prayer gave us so much. When it was already hard and there was still a lot of time left, we asked you to pray for us. It's because God heard your prayers that it kept getting easier for us. Our wedding is tomorrow. And we want to thank you, because you showed us how important prayer is. May God reward you!
