Prayer for Sobriety through the Intercession of Saint John the Baptist
Saint John the Baptist, you who practiced abstinence throughout your whole life, help us to live to see the day in our homeland when alcohol is no longer a symbol of misfortune, worry and tragedy. Protect us from the sin of drunkenness. Be the inspiration and help of all who give up alcoholic drinks for the good of their loved ones and of the nation. Patron of those who abstain from alcohol, awaken in the hearts of my fellow countrymen the desire to live without alcohol, so that through their abstinence we may attain the sobriety of the whole nation.

Testimony
Some time ago, I asked for prayers for the healing of my father and my brother, who are alcoholics. They have been sober for two days now. Thank you, God. And thank you, dear ones, for your prayerful support.
