Priesthood

Prayer for Priests

Best of Fathers, You choose and call people to serve Your people as shepherds. Renew in priests the graces given to them in the sacrament of Holy Orders. May the Holy Spirit enliven their ministry and make them priests after the pattern of Your Son Jesus Christ. Father, send Your Spirit upon the priest whom I commend in this prayer, and give him strength and courage to be a sign of Your presence in the world.
