I humbly ask for prayers for me, that my anxiety may leave me and that I may become pregnant for a second time—I am paralyzed by the fear that something bad will happen, while I dream of becoming a mother again. Thank you 😊
Prayer for the Families and Loved Ones of the Mentally Ill
My Lord, through the intercession of Saint Dymphna I ask You to watch over the families and loved ones of people who are mentally ill and emotionally suffering. Support them with Your love, so that, like You, they may never turn away the weak and the sick. Have pity on them, so that through You they may find within themselves the strength they need to care for the mentally ill. May they surround those in need with their patience and care. Saint Dymphna, you know what it means to live with someone who is ill, for after the death of his wife your father was struck by mental illness. I ask you, therefore, to watch over those families whose loved ones are emotionally wounded. Through your intercession may the Lord grant them the graces they need. Amen.
