For deliverance from alcoholism
Alcoholism has been with me since I was 17. I drank compulsively until I was 26 and then I stopped. I was sober for over 2 years and then I returned to the addiction. Currently, I have been sober for a week. I ask you for prayer in my intention.
Prayer for Sobriety through the Intercession of Saint John the Baptist
Saint John the Baptist, you who practiced abstinence throughout your whole life, help us to live to see the day in our homeland when alcohol is no longer a symbol of misfortune, worry and tragedy. Protect us from the sin of drunkenness. Be the inspiration and help of all who give up alcoholic drinks for the good of their loved ones and of the nation. Patron of those who abstain from alcohol, awaken in the hearts of my fellow countrymen the desire to live without alcohol, so that through their abstinence we may attain the sobriety of the whole nation.

In May, I submitted a prayer request for my husband, that he would stop drinking. Praise the Lord! Since August, he significantly began to reduce the amount of alcohol he drank, and since October, he has not drunk anything. He doesn't even want to eat alcohol-filled candies. Thank you all for the prayers. Remember, with God, there is always hope.
