Prayer for Peace in the Family

O God, Author of peace and Guardian of mercy, turn Your eyes upon our family. You see, Lord, how divided it is and how much unrest there is in it. Have mercy on us and grant that peace may return to our family, for if You do not give it to us, no one else will be able to bestow it on us.

O Jesus, King of Peace, hear us through the merits of Your holy Mother, the Queen of Peace, and through the merits of Your faithful servant, Saint Rita, whom You enriched with such great mercy and kindness that she became an angel of peace, bringing it wherever she saw discord.

You, dear Saint, obtain this grace for us from the Lord, and we will praise your protection in every need of our life. Amen.
