Thanksgiving...

today, on my 63rd birthday, I want to express my gratitude to God for my whole life so far... including for my parents, who are no longer alive (my mom was 44 when she gave birth to me, my dad 56...) for my siblings... teachers... catechists and many of God's priests... employers... friends and coworkers... for the sobriety I received over 31 years ago... for freedom from nicotine over 30 years ago... for saving my marriage, which has now lasted 44 years... for the grace of finding myself...
