I ask for prayers for an unborn child; there is a suspicion of a severe genetic disease. I ask for prayers that the amniocentesis procedure takes place without complications and that the test does not confirm a defect, and that the baby is born healthy. I also ask for prayers for the mother, for the necessary graces so that she may peacefully endure this difficult time.
