Prayer

Lord, I humbly ask for strength, for rest, for peaceful sleep, a night that brings comfort. For a peaceful tomorrow, for a better future. It is so much on a human scale and so little for You. I am at the end of my strength, exhausted and broken, seemingly one but in millions of pieces. Comfort and silence. That is what I long for.
