Prayer

Lord, help me and show me the way. I feel I have lost my way. Inside I am burnt out. Emotions and feelings are giving way to growing indifference. A multitude of troubles overwhelms me and binds my thoughts. I can no longer even remember how it was back when I knew how to be glad. My soul is filled with sadness and bitterness. My eyes see nothing but darkness. I am alive, but inside I am dead. Lord, send a spark that will set me alight again. Give me Your hand, God.
