Intention

I ask for prayer that the Lord God may help me heal from scruples and intrusive thoughts. They try to convince me that I want a mortal sin, but I very much don't want it, and that hurts and saddens me. That I may trust Jesus and not pay attention to these thoughts. I want to live according to God's will! Saint Alphonsus Liguori, intercede for me!
