Please, God, be willing to listen to me. I am nobody special; I do not have many friends. I have a wife whom I love very much, and because of my illness, I bring her only sadness. I haven't told my parents about my troubles either; I don't want to worry them—I should be taking care of them and repaying them for years of their care. I have a pet cat—who wandered in one day—he is my little comforter, always sitting by me when I am feeling bad. I ask as an ordinary man—God, send upon me the grace of healing....
