For forgiveness and hope

Please pray for me. I made a mistake, I lied to my greatest friend and in doing so I let down God, him and myself. I would like to hope that this relationship can still be repaired. That I will still be happy, or rather that we will be happy together. But I am losing that hope. I was not guided by love in this situation and it should never have happened. I ask for forgiveness from both God and my friend. And I ask for hope and a chance that this relationship can be saved, because I have never loved another...
