For ending a relationship

I humbly ask for prayers for me, that I may be able to end the relationship I am in, which has led me away from God. Please, God, help me end it in such a way that I do not hurt the boyfriend I am with, so that he does not attempt suicide—which he mentions "in case of a breakup"—and so that his life may turn out happily, while I have the strength to break off that which is pulling me down.
