For a good confession

That I may go to confession, so that I may be saved. I have difficulty preparing for confession, I get lost, my mind sometimes goes blank, it is hard for me to judge which confessions were valid, maybe I don't care enough. I ask for prayer, because I want to be saved, to live with God, to have strength to fight sin and to love my neighbour as myself.
